I give it a new shot
I look back on these blog posts and laugh. Life in 2020 was funny, it was good, I had great friends, partied, and covid was just ending. Apartments in the east village were affordable and everyone was just a couple blocks away. You can romanticize anything.
Now life has been so busy, I moved to France. Today I am sick, I blame it on a change of weather. It has been over a month now here. I like it a lot, it's hard to know when a place feels like home. It's close here though there's family and there's comforts. Plus I am with the one I love, free from any sort of trouble of immigration. A looming doom upon us through the USA and Canada. The food is not processed, amazing to cook with and eat. They have machines that press fresh orange juice everywhere. As long as I have a desk and a sewing machine, I will be okay.
I have been working on a new book now, Up my Skirt not sure when it will be done. I just keep adding pages. Now I am working on Lucky Lottie & Sassy Sally they will be going to Montreal. I get to reflect on my time there through the drawings. They serve as an inexplicit diary where it's not me directly. In Montreal I printed 160 covers, I did not even bring them here. just 60 on good paper. I am not sure how to print the guts, there are a lot of "no's" in France.
